C18 AQ phase is designed for reproducible retention and excellent peak shape in highly aqueous eluents even 100% water, and typically enhance separation of highly polar compounds such as water soluble compounds like vitamins and organic acids, peptides, proteins, and nucleotides.
C18 Polar phase can also be used in 100% aqueous mobile phase. Selectivity is different from C18 AQ.
