Phenyl phase provides π-π interaction associated selectivity, suitable for separation of aromatic compounds.
PFP phase has strong polarity interaction to provides better selectivity for polar compounds. In addition, the PFP phases have some stereoselectivity that can better separate some structure isomers.
PBB phase has stronger dispersion force interaction; suitable for the separation of some compounds of longer bond length and larger functional atoms (such as halogen atoms), or electron-active groups.
